These blades are excellent, and they keep sharp much longer than the old type blades. I think they are worth the extra cost for the quality you get.

I do construction for a living. I've remodeled whole houses as well as hung and finished drywall for 13 years. I've been using these blades for a couple years now. They are the most durable knife blades I've ever had! Before I used the Lenox Gold blades I was using standard Stanly blades for my drywall work. The switch was a little painful at first because of the price difference but the first time I used a Gold blade took all the pain away. It's like comparing apples to oranges. At the moment I am hanging drywall for a living and these blades will last me a whole house of hanging before I even have to turn the blade over!
These deserve 10 stars and I recommend that everyone who has need for a strong, sturdy knife blade buy these!
