Channellock 440 12" Pliers July 31, 2008 Mack Patterson (NASA/Moffett Field , CA) Found channel locks to be of good quality, strong, lock system well machined so they dont slip. Handles dipped making them easy to grip. Recommend them over similar manufacturers.
Best Tool Ever Made September 29, 2007 C. D. Phillips (Oakland, TN USA) This is, by far, the single most used tool I have had for my entire life. The 440 Channellock not only works on so many plumbing applications but also for electrical, automotive, carpentry(pulls nails and grips studs), and just about anything else you can work on. I have had one pair since I was a child and they still work good even though they are the most worn, used, and abused tool I have. If I were being tortured and could have only one tool I would have to pick this one. It is an absolute necessity and highly recommended. Channellock is also still made in U.S.A. and that just makes me recommend them more. Look for those blue handles stickin' out 'cause that's the tool your lookin' for.
Seems to be a good pair of channel locks June 8, 2007 Jerry Griffis I have used them a couple times now and they seem to be a really good pair of channel locks.
Great Products November 3, 2006 W. Assell (Charlotte, NC USA) This is the number one tool used by professional plumbers. They are simply the best tools. These are a little larger than the standard size but they are still great.
