| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description Packed with 180 high-quality steel and rubber tools for general home use, this handy tool kit is a great way to keep tools for home maintenance, repair, and special projects in easy reach. A handy claw hammer pulls nails and hammers in small to medium-size nails for anything from mounting shelving to putting up picture frames. Linesman and long-nose pliers are great for gripping things in tight quarters. And, an 8-inch torpedo level takes the guesswork out of hanging things straight. Standard and metric socket sets and ratchets have you covered for bolt and nut attachments large and small. And a 3/8-inch spark-plug socket helps with the small-engine maintenance. The kit also includes a ratcheting bit handle and 10-piece bit driver set, 4 screwdrivers, a 12-foot tape measure with fractional readout, and more! Organized in a compact gray storage/carrying case, you'll know just where that tool is when you need it most. If you buy all these tools individually at the hardware store, you'll easily pay twice as much. --Brian D. Olson

Good Starter Kit for New Apt/Homeowners May 13, 2007 Ritholtz (NY) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is most everything a new homeowner needs to take care of most repair projects. Everything in one box, conveniently stored and organized.
None of the tools can be mistaken for a high quality professional set -- but thats not what you buy this for, or what you shold expect at this price point. Add an electric drill, and you are set for most small projects inside the house.
Its a good gift for someone moving into their first Apartment or house
